Compassion, Is A Fundamental and Distinctive Quality Of God

   Matthew 14:14 (14) And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.    Mark 6:34 (34) And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things. Another proverb,  Proverbs 9:10 , helps us to understand: "The fear of the L ORD  is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." While  Proverbs 8:13  defines what the fear of the Lord  is ,  Proverbs 9:10  shows what it  produces . Understanding the effect of the fear of the Lord will help us to understand the cause.
