The Sabbath Commandment Needs To Be Kept.

Image
A person needs to keep the Sabbath commandment just as he keeps all the other commandments.  You really need to reread the New Testament, again, if you think differently.   The Sabbath Commandment was never abolished and it remains the same day of the week as the Old Testament identifies it. 1  Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2  And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3  And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.  (Genesis 2:1-3). It clearly identifies the seventh day of the week, not the first day.  If you think otherwise, you are only fooling yourself, and ultimately God will hold you accountable. 2 Timothy 3:15-17 says: " And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise...

CAN YOU SEE OR ARE YOU AS BLIND AS THIS MAN?

Image
A MAN BORN BLIND RECEIVES SIGHT. John 9:12-31   King James Version (KJV) 12  Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not. 13  They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind. 14  And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. 15  Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see. In this passage, the man was blind from birth, he was also a beggar who had the routine of waiting by the gates of the temple for gifts from the worshipers. In those days it was commonly thought that a sickness was a result of sin and that if the parents committed a sin, it was transferred to the child of those parents.  But Jesus rejected this idea. In this particular situation, God allowed the man to be born blind so that Jesus could heal him and reveal the works of God through the man Jesus Christ so that ...

YOU CAN NOT JUSTIFY YOURSELF BY YOUR ACTS OR DEEDS.

Image
Acts 24:14 But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets.  ( New King James Version)   "Paul is on trial before Felix, the governor. "They" refers to the Jews. Paul says, "I confess," as he is giving testimony. He is a witness before a court, as he is on trial. "The way" is Christianity, which the Jews call a heresy. ""Believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets" is really an astounding statement in light of what has gone on in Protestantism over the past few hundred years. The very man whom they say wrote most clearly and lucidly that "the law is done away" is the one who says he believes  all things  that are written in the Law and the Prophets. There is absolutely nothing in the Law and the Prophets that says anything at all about the doing away with...

Catholic Church Tries To Draw Christians Back To Rome And To Pre-Reformation Faith.

Image
The following article applies to all denominations in the world today and it does not apply to the members of any church denomination.  It applies only to the OFFICIALS WHO RUN THE CHURCH.  So, before all of you critics head out to the shed for your pitch forks and torches, please read the article first.  Then you can head for the pitchforks.   We are all truly one church and as long as a person believes in Jesus Christ as the Son of God we are all one family under God.  The caveat here is that you must stand on the Word of God alone, the Bible. "Five hundred years ago, Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses—and the world has never been the same since. But what has not changed is the Word of God and the truths in the Word that gave Luther the theological foundation to challenge Rome...Luther found the great truth of “justification by faith” alone. "It was in regard to this truth, too, that Luther—defying the powers and principalities of the wo...

God's Representatives During The Millennial Reign Of Jesus Christ.

Nehemiah 9:27 Therefore You delivered them into the hand of their enemies, Who oppressed them; And in the time of their trouble, When they cried to You, You heard from heaven; And according to Your abundant mercies You gave them deliverers who saved them From the hand of their enemies.    Obadiah  1:21 Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion To judge the mountains of Esau, And the kingdom shall be the LORD's. ( New King James Version) "As Nehemiah recounts in his prayer to  God , these saviors were people like Gideon, Samson, Ehud, Joshua, and Moses. God gave them leaders that He inspired to deliver Israel from the terrible circumstance they were in. "Now put this verse—and the thought found in Obadiah 21 into a Millennial setting and our responsibilities as kings and priests—into the concepts of saving, judging, and teaching, all of which are involved in what God will be doing then. Remember also that God prophesies that Israel wi...

Galatians 1:6-8(6) I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, (7) which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. (8) But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. Galatians 4:8-10(8) But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. (9) But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how  is it that  you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage? (10) You observe days and months and seasons and years.  (New King James Version) "Paul penned the book of Galatians because church members in Galatia were turning away from the true gospel and had embraced a false one ( Galatians 1:6-7 ). Early on, Paul had to establish his credentials - that  the gospel  ...

THERE IS NO LASTING VALUE IN JUSTIFICATION ON THE BASIS OF ONES OWN WORKS.

Image
Galatians 3:22-   But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by  in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. "The Old Testament has "included" or "enclosed" or "shut up" all of humanity under the umbrella of sin. Not a single person can appear before  God  on the basis of his own merit or righteousness. The totality of mankind is enslaved by sin and does not have the means to break free from its grasp. By "concluding" that everyone is under the bondage of sin, or under the curse of sin, the scripture shows that  something external  to mankind has to act to provide a solution that can save man from himself and his sinful nature. This "conclusion" also demonstrates that none of the paths that man has embarked on—primarily justification on the basis of one's own works—are of any lasting worth. "Because all other paths are shown to be futile, the only option for salvation and glorification...

The Apostle Paul Wrote That, "Saying That Any Portion Of The Bible Is "Done Away" Could Be Spiritually Suicidal".

Image
2 Timothy 3:15-17 - and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.  (New King James Version) “At the time Paul wrote this, "all scripture is inspired of God, and is profitable" referred to the Old Testament. Paul probably did not know that what he was writing would become Scripture. “At its worst, saying that the law—or any portion of the Bible—is "done away" could be spiritually suicidal. At the very least, it will hinder growth because a person will not be thoroughly furnished to all good works. It is similar in principle to a student attending school who ignores certain selected sections of the textbook on the basis of his own percepti...

That God Will Grant Us Repentance And Forgive Us Through The Blood Of Jesus Christ Is Not Actually The Good News!

Image
Hebrews 6:1    Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary   principles   of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,   New King James Version "These doctrines or principles are very important.  God  will grant us  repentance  and forgive us through the blood of  Jesus Christ . What good news! But it is not  the  good news. That is the principle: Being granted repentance and having  faith  in and through Jesus Christ are good news, but the result of those things is the real good news. It is the culmination of the process—"let us go on to perfection"—that is the good news. "What if  the gospel  concentrates on the Messenger rather than the message He brought? If it focuses on the greatness of the Messenger, all of the good news about Him, and His importance to the process, His significance actuall...

At the Cross, Jesus Gave Us the Gift of Everlasting Life!

Image
Do you want immortality and everlasting life, to live free of pain and sorrow, sickness and death throughout eternity?   If this is something you desire, then be assured that you can receive everlasting life the moment you accept JesusChrist as your savior.   John 5:24 says “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hear my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”; 3:36 says “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”; and 4:14 says “But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”. If you believe in Jesus, you will receive everlasting life and the character of Jesus.   This will be displayed and shown by how you act, appear, and how you...

This Easter Week Christians Need to Remember....

Jesus Christ’s Promise; He said, “I will come again”! “I go to prepare a place for you.   And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:2-3). “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:” “Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” (Matthew 25:31,34). “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” (Hebrews 9:28). “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet ...

Proof Of The Paranormal.

Image
The next time any human being sees Jesus Christ is when He comes back for His church.   Dead Christians will be resurrected into immortality and the Christians who are still alive at that time Jesus returns will be changed from mortal human beings into immortal human beings.   It is then that people will rise up into the air with Jesus and go into “heaven” and prepare to return with Him and set up an earthly Kingdom.     "Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. "He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.   And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should ...
