God created man with the intent of making man part of His divine family. These would be immortal beings who would live together with God and Jesus Christ throughout eternity. But, Satan caused man to sin against God so before God could continue with His plan to make mankind part of His family, He had to complete a salvation plan which He formulated before man even existed.
